MONROE, Mich. – To people driving by Nortel Lanes on Telegraph Road in Monroe, it might have just looked like an old bowling alley.
But for many people, it was a building full of fond memories and a place where friendships were made.
The bowling alley is gone now after a fire ripped through the building overnight Wednesday.
It's been a difficult day for the people who loved Nortel Lanes.
