Former juvenile murder convict Nathaniel Abraham pleads guilty in new assault case

Abraham convicted at 11, now accused of assaulting two prison guards

ADRIAN, Mich. - A Michigan man convicted of a rifle-slaying committed at age 11 has now pleaded guilty to assaulting two prison guards.

Twenty-six-year-old Nathaniel Abraham made the plea Tuesday in Lenawee County Circuit Court in Adrian. Authorities say Abraham attacked the guards in November 2010.

Abraham is serving four to 20 years for drug possession. He faces sentencing next month on the charges, which carry up to five years in prison.

Abraham was convicted of murder for using a stolen rifle to kill 18-year-old Ronnie Greene in Pontiac in 1997 and was held until turning 21.
