Service for Jordan, Ashley Siegel is set for noon at Dorfman Chapel in Farmington Hills

DETROIT – A funeral will be Tuesday for a young brother and sister who were killed in a violent rollover crash in Pittsfield Township last week.

Jordan Siegel, 14, and Ashley Siegel, 11, died when the SUV they were driving in flipped in the southbound lanes of US 23 near Textile Road Friday afternoon.

Jordan and Ashley's funeral is set for noon Tuesday at the Dorfman Chapel in Farmington Hills.

Internment will be at Clover Hill Park in Birmingham.

Police say Honda minivan cut SUV off

Police say the SUV had been caught off by a gray of silver Honda Odyssey van.

Police say the children's stepmother, Dawn Siegel, tried to avoid the vehicle by swerving into the median but lost control.

Witnesses tell police the minivan driver may be an Arabic woman about 40 years old. The minivan had continued southbound on US 23 after the crash.

A total of seven people, including four other children, were in the car.

The remaining family members are recovering with various injuries.

The family is from Novi.
