Gilbert unveils plan for first Downtown Detroit high-rise since 2003

Dan Gilbert proposes 'Monroe Blocks' project

DETROIT – Dan Gilbert's Bedrock unveiled their proposed plan for a new development on Monroe, between Greektown and Campus Martius in Downtown Detroit.

The proposed project, "Monroe Blocks," is a multi-building, mixed-use development with office space, residential and retail space with parking.

The high-rise office building would be the first new high-rise in Detroit since 2003, when One Campus Martius was built.
