When police approached Anucinski he fled on foot and a pursuit ensued. After the suspect was in custody, it was discovered that Nona's Pizza on Harper Avenue was broken into earlier.

Detectives say Anucinski was responsible for that burglary and two additional home invasions in Harper Woods.

Police say Anucinski is also a suspect in numerous eastside burglaries and home invasions in Detroit and the Grosse Pointe area.

Anucinski was charged with breaking and entering and is currently in the Wayne County Jail.

Detectives from the other jurisdictions anticipate additional charges will be filed.
