HAZEL PARK, Mich. - A 31-year-old Detroit woman is accused of fleeing police and crashing into a fence while her young son was in the car.

Hazel Park police said officers tried to pull over Latanya Hall's Ford Focus for an expired plate Tuesday afternoon near 8 Mile and Dequindre, but she took off.

She led police on a chase until eventually pulling into a driveway on Spencer and crashing into a fence.

Police said Hall got out and ran on foot but was eventually arrested when officer used a Taser on her.

Her 11-month-old son was found seat-belted in the front of the car. He wasn't hurt and is in the care of a family member.

Hall is charged with fleeing and eluding, possession of marijuana and driving with a suspended license.

She could face more charges for having her son in the car.
