A pretrial hearing for the boy was adjourned until Aug. 26th because the Oak Park boy's mother is still seeking an attorney for him.
The boy is facing charges of breaking and entering, malicious destruction of a building and violating curfew.
Southfield police found the boy inside Bank of America branch on July 12 when an alarm alerted the bank's security company.
Police said the boy had coin rolls and a small amount of cash from the bank.
