Hit-and-run driver leaves vehicle at scene after injuring woman on Wyoming Avenue in Detroit

49-year-old woman listed in critical condition

DETROIT - A 49-year-old woman remains in critical condition Friday after a hit-and-run crash on Detroit’s west side.

The crash happened at about 2 a.m. at the corner of Wyoming Avenue and Chalfonte Street.

According to police, the woman’s truck was struck by a Dodge Caravan and her vehicle rolled over.

The driver of the Caravan left the vehicle and fled the scene.

Wyoming Avenue was briefly closed.

The woman was taken to the hospital and is listed in critical condition.
