How to avoid disater relief donation scams

Many across the United States and the world are looking to donate or have donated to disaster relief charities.

This as photos of the devastation after Hurricane Harvey are continuing to surface and as we are getting a first look at the devastation in Florida from Hurricane Irma.

However law enforcement officials warn consumers to use caution when making donations.
