Husband of Eastpointe woman charged with her murder

Christina Lazzana Webster found shot to death Saturday in home; Anthony Webster charged with second-degree murder

DETROIT – The husband of an Eastpointe woman who was found shot to death this past weekend has been charged with murder.

Anthony Webster, 46, was arraigned Tuesday.

His wife, 33-year-old Christina Lazzana Webster, was found shot in the chest Saturday afternoon in her home on David Avenue.

Police said they found a revolver in the driveway.

Webster turned himself in the next day.

He pleaded not-guilty to second-degree murder. His bond was set at $500,000. He was also ordered to turn over any other guns he had.

His next court hearing is Feb. 5.

Lazzana Webster and her husband owned Big Top Popcorn in Eastpointe.
