INKSTER, Mich. -
The Michigan Supreme Court removed Inkster District Judge Sylvia James on July 31, calling her unfit for office.
On Tuesday, primary participants gave her 814 votes, ahead of Sabrina Johnson with 615.
They will face off in November for a six-year term that begins Jan. 1st.
James has been off the court since April while the case against her proceeded.
