Police take person of interest into custody after man fatally shot at Inkster nightclub

INKSTER, Mich. – Update: Rashad Bell has been taken into custody.

The Michigan State Police released a photo of a person they said is a person of interest in the fatal shooting of 26-year-old Joseph Franklin of Detroit.

Police said they're seeking information on 28-year-old Rashad Bell, who they said should be considered armed and dangerous.

Bell's last address was listed in Southfield. He is described to be around 6 feet tall, and 275 pounds.

The attack at Stardust Lounge in Inkster happened about 1 a.m. Saturday.

The victim, a black male in his 20s, was found in the Lounge's parking lot.

Witnesses told police the gunman ran away.

Michigan State Police are helping with the investigation.
