Job fair for health care workers is Thursday in Detroit

DETROIT - There's a job fair Thursday in Detroit for health care workers.

The fair, which is being hosted by the Institute for Population Health, runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the institute's administrative building at 1400 Woodbridge.

There will be on-site interviews for the following positions:

  • Billing specialists
  • Biostatisticians
  • Compliance specialists
  • Disease intervention specialists
  • Medical lab technicians
  • Nurse practitioners
  • Registered nurses
  • Special population advocate (Children's special health care services/vaccine protection)

Those interested in applying should bring 2 copies of their resume, dress professionally, and bring any relevant and valid professional licenses and certification documentation.
