LINCOLN PARK, Mich. - Lincoln Park police are searching for a man in connection with the shooting of two men Saturday in the 1200 block of Garfield Avenue.

Police said Lloyd Nathaniel Ray, 24, of Inkster, is suspected of being involved in a shooting around 3:30 a.m. Saturday. Two men were shot in the 1200 block of Garfield Avenue, and witnesses saw two men running from the scene.

The victims were taken to Detroit Receiving Hospital, where one was pronounced dead. The other victim underwent surgery and is expected to recover.

Police said Ray was identified as the shooter. They are in the process of obtaining a warrant for his arrest.

Ray is 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighs 180 pounds and has shoulder-length dreadlocks.

Anyone who sees him is asked to call Lincoln Park police at 313-381-1800. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
