Lake Orion Community Schools close after former student runs away, may be armed

The Lake Orion Community Schools district is closing all of its buildings Monday after law enforcement was informed about a former student who ran away and may be armed. 

Teen shot during attempted robbery at Anthos Garden Apartments on Detroit's east side

A 17-year-old boy is in critical condition after being shot in an apartment on Detroit's east side. The shooting happened about 3 a.m. Monday at the Anthos Garden Apartments in the 5000 block of East Outer Drive.
