DEARBORN, Mich. – Two Dearborn schools are holding fundraisers for Bob Cipriano and his lasting legacy.

In the early morning hours of April 16, Bob Cipriano was beaten to death in his Farmington Hills home. His wife, Rose, and 17-year-old son, Sal, were severely beaten as well.

Sal's twin, Tanner, hid under a desk in his bedroom during the attacks and escaped physically unharmed.
The Cipriano's 19-year-old son, Tucker, and 20-year-old friend Mitchell Young are charged with murder and attempted murder.

First-annual JKLP Walk-A-Thon
Edsel Ford High School, 20601 Rotunda, Dearborn 48124, will host their first annual JKLP Walk-A-Thon.
The event is Thursday, June 14, from noon to 2 p.m. at the school.
A minimum donation of $10 is requested. Proceeds will benefit the Robert Cipriano Memorial Cross Country Meet, The Cipriano Scholarship, and the Cipriano family. District created JKLP wrist bands will be distributed to all donating participants. Additional wrist bands can be purchased for $5the day of the event.
Talent show will benefit Cipriano family
Bryant Middle School, 460 N. Vernon, Dearborn 48128, will be putting on a very special Talent Show to benefit the Cipriano family on Wednesday, June 6, beginning at 6:30 pm.
Admission is $5 for every adult and $3 for every child. All are welcome to attend.
Donation information
Checks should be made payable to the Dearborn Education Foundation with the memo "Cipriano Memorial Fund" on the check. All proceeds collected by the Foundation will directly benefit the cross-country event, scholarship and Cipriano family.
The district continues to sell special rose-colored bracelets (in honor of Bob's wife Rose) with the letters JKLP and the words "Just Keep Loving People" written on them. Bob's son Tanner used these words to inspire and deliver a message of hope to the 1,500 people gathered at Bob's funeral.

Direct donations can be made by visiting a DFCU Financial branch or you can visit a local Comerica branch and someone there will help direct your donation to the cause.
