Michigan absentee ballots get new envelopes

CANTON, Mich. – Absentee ballots in Michigan have a new look this year, according to Canton city officials.

Now people who sign up for absentee ballots will receive a blue envelope in the mail, which contains a green return envelope.

Ballots won’t come in manila envelopes anymore.

The new design was requested by the United States Postal Service.
