DETROIT – Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan is expected to hold a press conference at 2 p.m. on Monday to address the city’s response to coronavirus concerns.

In addition to highlighting the most recent infection and death trends, the Mayor will announce a series of additional city departments that will begin to return employees to work on Monday, May 18th.

He also will highlight the success of the city’s Feed the Front Lines program, which has provided 20,000 delivered meals to police officers, firefighters, medics, DDOT drivers and health care workers over the past month by enlisting more than 100 Detroit restaurants, providing them a stream of revenue curing the COVID-19 crisis
