Bomb threat made to Comerica Park

No evacuation, no bomb found during Tigers baseball game

DETROIT – Someone called in a bomb threat to Comerica Park Tuesday evening during a Tigers baseball game, Detroit Police say.

The call came in around 7:50 p.m. and police traced it to a tower off of Michigan Ave.

After investigating the area, police didn't find a suspect or a phone.

The cell phone used came from a burned out cell, which is untraceable, police told Local 4.

Comerica Park was not evacuated and stadium detail investigated. The Tigers game went on as scheduled.
