Detroit EMS truck gets stuck in snow

EMTs leave rig in snow, rush to help stroke victim

DETROIT – Drivers found tough conditions Monday as they ventured out into inches of snow, and a Detroit ambulance was not immune to the trouble.

An EMS truck got stuck but the EMTs had to get to a stroke victim at Cobb and Beechwood, Local 4's Shawn Ley reported. They left the stuck rig and walked three blocks to the victim.

They removed the woman from a window and drove her to a hospital with a car.
