Man found dead from hit-and-run in Detroit

DETROIT - Investigators are gathering evidence from a deadly hit-and-run that happened early Friday morning on Detroit's east side.

Sources tell Local 4, police received a call about a man lying in the middle of Chalmers near Chelsea shortly before 2:30 a.m.

He was transported to an area hospital, but pronounced deceased. His name has not yet been released.
