DETROIT – A motorcyclist is in the hospital after colliding with a DDOT bus Sunday evening.
The accident happened around 5p.m at the intersection of East Jefferson and Joseph Campau. Detroit Police say the DDOT bus was traveling eastbound on Jefferson and struck one of three motorcyclists as they attempted to turn left onto Joseph Campau.

The 29-year-old male driver of the motorcycle was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. He was alert when he was transported. The driver of the DDOT bus was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The accident is under investigation by DDOT and Detroit Police. They are still determining who was at fault in the crash.
