No Worries Now Foundation hosts prom for ill teens

The non-profit organization is hosting the event for teens who have survived or currently have life threatening illnesses

DETROIT – No Worries Now is hosting a prom on June 18 for teens who have survived or currently have life threatening illnesses.

Geared towards teens ages 13 through 19, the prom will take place at the Laurel Manor in Livonia.

The prom is free for participating teens and one guest.

No Worries Now says their primary charitable purpose is to provide events like these for teens battling terminal illness to empower them, allow them the opportunity to connect with similar individuals, and grow their support system. The non-profit organization held its first prom in Los Angeles in 2006.
