Police: Three men stole ATM on Detroit's west side

ATM from Giovanni Fuel gas station was stolen on Friday, clerk held at gunpoint

DETROIT - Detroit police are searching for the three men they say stole an ATM from a gas station on the city's west side.

According to police, three men entered the Giovanni Fuel gas station in the 4200 block of West Warren Friday morning.  One of the men pointed an AK-47 at the 30-year-old female clerk and fired a shot.  The woman wasn't harmed.

The suspects then took the ATM on a dolly and escaped in an older black vehicle. The make and model of the vehicle are not known at this time.

The suspects are described as black men. One is in his 20's, last seen wearing all black clothing and armed.

The second suspect is in his 20's with a dark complexion and thick eyebrows, a heavy build weighing 180 lbs., wearing a black sweater with a hood, red scarf over his face, and is armed.

The third suspect is in his 30's, has a heavy build and is 5'11" tall, and was last seen
wearing a black jacket.
