Detroit mayor participates in ribbon-cutting ceremony at One Detroit Center

DETROIT – Detroit Mayor Dave Bing had something to smile about Tuesday morning -- he welcomed a new neighbor next door to his offices in the Coleman A. Young Municipal Center.

Accounting firm Price Waterhouse Coopers held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for their new offices in One Detroit Center.

The firm is moving 650 workers from offices near Ford Field to take up three floors of the building.

Bing commended the firm for staying in the city and not moving out to the suburbs.
