DETROIT - Quicken broke ground on a 66,000-square foot data center and office space in Corktown Tuesday.

The complex, located at 1401 Rosa Parks, will feature three 10,000 square foot server rooms. Quicken's IT staff will occupy half the building and the other half will be available for lease.

The facility will be managed by Quicken subsidiary Bedrock Real Estate.

Quicken says they expect to complete construction by January 2015.
