DETROIT – Crime Stoppers has increased the cash reward for information that leads to an arrest in the murder of a Navy officer.
Donations to 24-year-old Officer Terrence Hill Jr.'s family have made it possible for the reward to be raised from $2,500 to $12,500.

Police said Hill and a 21-year-old woman were in a Ford pickup truck just before 2 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 4 at Manor Street and 7 Mile Road when a gunman approached and demanded money.
The gunman forced Hill out of the truck and fatally shot him in the chest, police said. The woman was not hurt.
Hill served in Waukegan, Illinois as an artillery instructor. He graduated from the Detroit School of Arts in 2006.
His 21-year-old brother and step-brother serves in the United States Army.
Authorities said they have no leads in the case but have released a composite sketch.
