River Days Festival returns to Detroit's International Riverfront

Summer fun in Detroit starts June 22 with River Days Festival

DETROIT – Thousands of Detroiters and visitors are invited to kick off summer on the Detroit International Riverfront with the return of The 2012 Detroit River Days Festival on June 22nt through the 24th.

The three-day festival, presented by the Detroit RiverFront Conservancy, features many family friendly activities such as, the tall ships, a salute to the Tuskegee Airmen, giant sand sculptures and search and rescue demonstrations performed by the Coast Guard throughout the weekend.

Admission to the festival is $3.00 from 11 a.m. until 5p.m.and after 5 p.m. the fee is $5.00.
