Wayne State University's baseball coach, Ryan Kelley, as well as members of the university's baseball and softball teams, will also be there.

The Scherzer family, in partnership with the Detroit Tigers Foundation, an affiliate of Ilitch Charities, will present a donation to Detroit PAL in support of the 2014 RBI teams.

This will give the 45 players in attendance the opportunity to compete across the county, where they will face competitors from different places and backgrounds, and receive excelled coaching during the season.
