To date, the seemingly meticulous jury has asked only 2 questions about the case including one on Count 3 Extortion pertaining to an amendment to DWSD sewer lining contract 1368 and another having to do with similar wording in Count 1- RICO-Racketeering Conspiracy and Count 7 Extortion on Outfalls contract DWS 849.

The three defendants in this case are charged with running a criminal enterprise through the mayor's office to enrich themselves. Jurors are deliberating a verdict on charges that include racketeering, extortion, bribery, mail and wire fraud, attempted extortion and filing false taxes.

Kwame Kilpatrick is facing 30 counts, Bobby Ferguson 11 and Bernard Kilpatrick 4.

Jurors will return to the courthouse Wednesday morning to begin day 12 of deliberations at 9 a.m.
