Madison Heights police investigate bank robbery

Flagstar Bank on Dequindre robbed Wednesday afternoon

Investigators with the Madison Heights Police Department are looking for the person responsible for robbing the Flagstar Bank at 31049 Dequindre Wednesday afternoon.

Police said the suspect showed a note to the teller - demanding money.

The suspect is described as an older white male, thin, 5'7'-5'10', 150 lbs., bad teeth, wearing large framed glasses dressed in a red flannel coat, dark shirt, tan pants, baseball hat and white tennis shoes. 

The suspect left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money through the north doors and left on foot eastbound towards Dequindre turning south towards 13 mile. A Police K-9 tracked the suspects trail southwest from the bank behind the Mobil gas station located at 31011 Dequindre ending at the Masters Restaurant parking lot just west of the Mobil station.   Anyone recognizing the suspect or having information about the crime is asked to contact the Madison Heights Police Department at 248-585-2100.Â
