DETROIT – A man was shot and killed Sunday on Detroit's west side, police said.
The 54-year-old victim was shot in the head in the 1500 block of Clairmount Avenue about 12:45 a.m., police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The shooter is described as a black man wearing a gray hoodie.
The shooting remains under investigation.
