DETROIT – One person is dead after a shooting at the corner of 7 Mile Road and Monica Street right outside the Head Start administrative building.
Police found an unidentified man Wednesday morning propped up against the building with a single gunshot wound to his head. He is between 25 and 30 years old.
Neighbors awoke to police banging on their doors in the middle of the night,
Detroit police say the shooting has nothing to do with Head Start schools, the administration or the children who go there.
