Man in critical condition after crashing motorcycle in chase with Roseville police

18-year-old speeds away from officer after being pulled over Sunday, slams into stopped car

ROSEVILLE, Mich. - Roseville police said an 18-year-old man is in critical condition after fleeing from police on a motorcycle and crashing Sunday morning.

Police said the motorcyclist was pulled over for speeding in the area of Wildwood and Hayes, but took off when he was approached by the officer.

He sped eastbound down11 Mile Road before slamming into the back of a car and careening off the road, police said.

The suspect, who is a Clinton Township resident, has a suspended license and no motorcycle endorsement, police said.
