DETROIT – A Washington Township man was ordered Wednesday to stand trial for the murder of his girlfriend's 2-year-old son.
Ronald Dimambro is accused of beating and shaking Damian Sutton in August to the point the toddler had to be hospitalized. Sutton died several days later after being in a medically-induced coma.

Dimambro is charged with murder and child abuse.
Macomb County Sheriff Tony Wickersham says the 26-year-old Dimambro called 911 to report Sutton was having an asthma attack. Wickersham said Dimambro later admitted he had shaken the child.
