MDOT: I-75 ramp to Lodge Freeway will be closed for a week

Road officials say holes found in support beams; Fix under way

DETROIT – It's going to be about a week before a ramp connecting I-75 and the Lodge Freeway in downtown Detroit will reopen.

The Michigan Department of Transportation says temporary bridge supports are being put under the northbound I-75 ramp to northbound Lodge after a routine inspection found holes in the support beams.

How to get around the closure:

The northbound I-75 ramp to southbound M-10 (John C. Lodge Freeway) can be used as detour. Motorists can exit M-10 (John C. Lodge Freeway) at Howard Street and re-enter northbound M-10.
