Freezing drizzle possible overnight

Highs near 40 degrees Monday

DETROIT – We get above freezing with a slow thaw Monday in Motown and a bigger thaw early this week.

Sunday night has a chance of drizzle and freezing drizzle. We play tag with the freezing mark, and that can wreak havoc with any vehicle on the road.

Monday will be milder with overcast skies. Highs will be near 40 degrees. Some good thawing will occur.

More melting on Tuesday. It gets sunnier by the afternoon with temps reaching the low 40s.

Wednesday and Thursday will be brighter but not as mild. Highs still above freezing, but only in the mid 30s.
