Canton Credit Union robbed by scarf-wearing bandit

Bandit waits in line for several minutes before pulling off the robbery

CANTON, Mich. - The Credit Union Family Service Center was robbed just before two o'clock Saturday afternoon.

According to Canton Police, the suspect wearing a hat, green coat and scarf wrapped around their face stood in line for five minutes before giving the teller a note demanding cash.

The suspect received an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the scene on foot.

Anyone with information about the credit union robbery should contact the Canton Police Department Bureau.
