Canton Township-owned sidewalk snow removal update

CANTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – The combination of heavy snowfall, cold temperatures and drifting snow may delay the removal of snow and ice from Canton Township.

Sidewalks, parking lots and pathways that surround facilities, parks and other designated areas covered in snow and ice will be removed as soon as possible.

As large amounts of snow accumulate, Canton Township crews will be dispatched as part of its ongoing snow and ice removal operations to assure that the Township-owned sidewalks are kept clear to provide pedestrian access.

Township staff ask residents to remain patient and allow crews to complete the full clearing and clean-up of the Canton Township owned sidewalks while they work as quickly as possible.

Snow and ice removal will continue until all sidewalks and pathways are accessible.
