Crime Stoppers ups reward in unsolved Washington Township hit-and-run

Sandra Lee Loepp killed December; reward to solve case grows to $10,600

Last December a mother of five was hit and killed while walking home on Van Dyke Avenue near Campground Road in Washington Township.

Sandra Lee Loepp, 37, left Santino's Bar at 1 a.m. and was walking north when she was struck by a driver and killed.

UNCUT: Family makes plea for help in deadly hit-and-run

Her body was discovered in the parking lot of a mobile home community the next morning.

Loepp was dragged for almost a mile before the driver pulled her from under the vehicle and drove away, police say.

Crime Stoppers of Michigan is offering a cash reward of up to $10,600 for information that leads to an arrest in the unsolved case.
