Dearborn to apply herbicide to city parks Sept. 16-20

DEARBORN – The city of Dearborn will be a applying herbicide to parks between Sept. 16 and 20.

The city applies the herbicide yearly and wants to remind residents that the herbicide has a pungent odor and residents should avoid contact with the grass until the herbicide has dried.

The herbicide used is the same that homeowners can buy at a local store. All park entrances will be marked so residents will know if the herbicide has been applied.
