FERNDALE, Mich. - Attention baseball fans! Detroit Tigers' pitcher Max Scherzer and Biking for Baseball will be hosting a baseball clinic on Saturday during the 2012 Summer Bigs and Littles Picnic.

Biking for Baseball says Scherzer and participants will provide direct instruction and baseball fundamentals to those attending the picnic.

The picnic is an annual event where mentors come together to support youth, or "Bigs" and "Littles" respectively.

"We are excited to be visiting Detroit for the first time to help bring attention to Big Brothers Big Sisters and the need for more mentors," said Adam Kremers of Biking for Baseball's Director of Infield Operations.
