When they arrived, the homeowner explained that multiple family members had been bitten by the family dog. The homeowner did not know why the dog, a Brindle Pit Bull, would attack the family.

The three family members, a 62-year-old male, a 58-year-old female, and a 21-year-old female were all transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries to their arms.

Waterford Township prohibits any person to acquire, possess or maintain any Pit Bull terrier. The dog was turned over to Oakland County Animal Control.
