FERNDALE, Mich. – Ferndale police say a 49-year-old woman cut her 50-year-old husband with a knife Wednesday night while they were at the Motorama Motel on 8 Mile Road.
The woman, Raylene Jones, had told police her husband fell on glass and cut himself. However, officers say she was giving different, inconsistent accounts of what happened. Moreover, the man's injuries didn't match up with her stories.

The husband said she was mad at him for coming home late, so she cut him with the knife.
Police say Jones has an extensive criminal history. She is charged with felonious assault. A judge set her bond at $25,000.
