HIGHLAND PARK, Mich. – Highland Park firefighter Scott Ziegler is changing the image of the city's Fire Department with the help of his helmet and a mini camera.
Ziegler calls his 8-minute montage of fires fought in 2012 "A Year On My Lid."

"I got it last year for Christmas and I put it on my helmet in January and started filming most of our calls," he said.
The video already had 10,000 views since it was posted to YouTube on Monday.
"This video gives them the real, as we say, real-time video of what goes on," said fellow Highland Park firefighter Dammeon Player.
The firefighters will be moving to a new Fire Department in July or August of 2013. Meanwhile, Ziegler says he will not stop taking video of all the runs.
