Local elections across Metro Detroit Tuesday

Residents voting on a variety of important topics in Michigan

On Tuesday, residents across Metro Detroit will be voting on a number of important topics.

Voters in Birmingham will vote on a $21.5 million library expansion.  This would cost the average Birmingham homeowner $124 per year over the next 20 years.

New haven residents will be voting on the recall of four council members after a landfill expansion dispute. 

Residents of Riverview will decide on $8 million in bonds to improve water mains and city lights.

Wyandotte voters will be deciding on a tax increase related to general operation funds for the city.

Novi and Fenton area school districts will be seeking bonds for remodeling and updating buildings.
