REDFORD, Mich. – Redford Township police are investigating what happened to a man who was found dead in the middle of a neighborhood street.
The victim, a 24-year-old Detroit resident, was found just before midnight Tuesday dead from a gunshot wound in the 11300 block of Winston Avenue.
A neighbor, who asked not to be identified, said she heard gunshots right outside her window.
"I have lived here for almost 30 years, and I'm thinking, I got to move," she said.
Police said the man was in the area for a pool party.
"Redford is not the same to me. It's not the same," said neighbor Brenda Lucas.
No one is in custody.
Michigan State Police are helping Redford Township police with the investigation.
