BRIGHTON, Mich. – A man became wedged underneath a tree limb Tuesday afternoon while trimming the tree near Hilton and Hunter roads in Brighton.
Crews worked diligently to saw away at the tree and free the man's right arm and leg. He hung on to a tether about 80 feet above ground.

The man waived his arm in relief as he was freed. He was taken away on a stretcher.
He suffered a broken leg, a broken arm and cuts to his face but is expected to be OK otherwise.
He was taken to the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor.
