Local 4 talks with some leaders behind the Ford Fireworks this year as the big day is only week away.

DETROIT, Mich. - Cities around Michigan are gearing up for their annual Fourth of July events, and if you plan on joining in the festivities this year, here is the list of dates and times you should know.

Birmingham: July 3. Dusk at Lincoln hills Golf Course, 2666 W. Fourteen Mile. www/ci.birmingham.mi.us

Brownstown Twp.: July 3. Dusk at Lake Erie Metropark, 32481 W. Jefferson. Performance by Flashback from 6-9:30 p.m. $10 vehicle permit required after 5 p.m. Free admission with annual permit.

Jackson: July 3. Dusk at Cascade Falls Park, 1401 S. Brown St. 7 p.m. musical performance. $6 per person; children 10 and younger accompanied by adult are free of charge. 517-768-2901. visitjacksonmi.com.

Dearborn (Greenfield Village): July 3-6. 6-10 p.m. at Greenfield Village, 20900 Oakwood. Musical entertainment including the First Michigan Colonial Fife and Drum Corps and the River Raisin Ragtime Revue Detroit Symphony Orchestra Concert.
