Michigan State Police search for Dyson vacuums thief

Police say man spotted stealing Dyson vacuums from several stores in Toledo, Monroe, Downriver communities

MONROE, Mich. – Michigan State Police are releasing surveillance photos of a man they say has been shoplifting Dyson vacuum cleaners.

The pictures show the man at a Walmart in Monroe. The man has hit numerous department stores in Toledo, Monroe and Downriver communities, always taking Dysons.

The appliances sell for up to $599. Police believe he may be selling them on the street and at pawn shops to support a drug habit. He may be driving a white Chevy Trailblazer.
